HOW TO JOIN US

We always recommend coming along to a few sessions before you join us, so you can find out a bit more about the Club and see if you like it – we hope you will!

If you decide to join, please complete and send the form on this page or ask for a membership form to complete and bring it along to one of our sessions. Our Membership Secretary, Belinda, will then advise you how to pay your membership subscription.

There is a yearly fee £15 for full adult membership (pro rata if you join part-way through the year), plus £20 (2025/26) if you want to register with England Athletics (EA). Registration gets you £2 off any race you enter under EA rules. Note that EA registration runs from April to March – if you pay in, say, December you will still have to pay for a full year even though there is only a couple of months of the year left!

If you are under 18, please ask your parent/carer to contact our Membership Secretary to ask for our special membership form for under 18s.

For any personal data you provide for the purposes of your membership, the Club is the Data Controller and is responsible for storing and otherwise processing that data in a fair, lawful, secure and transparent way. The Club uses the England Athletic Membership Portal (called myAthletics) to manage its membership database. As part of the registration process, the Club will record your personal data on the MyAthletics Portal. England Athletics will contact you to invite you to sign into your new membership account when it has been set up.
